Free Dual-Pane Web Based Remote File Manager + SSH Terminal
You have probably seen lots of dual-pane network file managers offered as a free or commercial applications like
Fman, GNU Midnight Commander, WCM Commander - to name a few.
So meet the NetBro which is just another one with its own pros and cons.
This is a typical web based dual-pane file manager (with ad-hoc remote text files editor) integrated with SSH terminal and devloped as a J2EE web application.
This means you can deploy it in almost any of major J2EE containers like Tomcat, JBoss or WebLogic.
Using this app you can connect to a number of servers supporting SSH protocol at a time and manage their file systems and remotely run shell scripts/commands
like you do using other SSH putty-like clients. Though the NetBro SSH terminal is dummy (doesn't have highlighting and some other 'putty' functions) it is enough
to complete almost all kind of OP or adminstrative tasks. The app is free and if you want a copy of war file to install it on premise, just
contact me requesting the app or register and download war file from the Netbro dashboard. I can also provide Tomcat 9 bundle with the preinstalled NetBro app.
You may like it, you may not. If you found it useful, please support the project by a donation so I can keep developing this tool providing the new versions.
